Stuck in a model

I’m feeling stuck in model and I can’t get out. The same thoughts keep going round my head. I want to quit my full time job and teach yoga full time (self employed). I’m all set up and ready to go (already have busy classes and more lined up) I just need to hand my notice in at work. But the below thoughts are stopping me.
1) what about the pending financial crisis, what if people don’t have money to spend and stop coming to my classes meaning I don’t make any money
2) what if I don’t make enough money
3) how to I tell my boss I’m leaving
4) will I make enough money to pay for my holidays I have booked.
This makes me feel Anxious, worried, stressed and stuck and results in me just going through this through cycles over and over again and not handing my notice in. I’ve give my brain plenty of evidence that it’s possible but then these negative thoughts keeps cropping up and then can’t get rid of them and I don’t do anything about it. Help!!

Answer:

You are asking yourself some good questions here, and these are different from thoughts (although they are devilishly similar!). The difference is that we can derive our thoughts from our questions for example: “What if I don’t make enough money?” → “I might struggle financially.”
But before we move into breaking down your thoughts, I’d first like to ask you to answer the questions you posed, because I think they are filled with wisdom!
What if you don’t make enough money? What would it mean about you? How would you feel?  What would you do in this scenario?
How might you tell your boss that you’re leaving? What feeling would you like to bring to the conversation? What’s important to communicate? What might you face in response and how would you like to handle it?
When you answer these questions, you are actually building yourself a road map through the challenges that you may encounter. Answer these questions and come back with what you’ve learned from that exercise and we can work on next steps!
