Activities with my kids pt2

Hi,
thank you, this is really useful. To answer the questions:
1. It feels good to have it written out and I’m grateful to myself for opening it up.
2. I do them because I believe they are great things to do with the children. The whole premise of the membership is ‘learning through play’ and reducing screen time. I really believe in her message and what she’s trying to achieve. The problem is, she’s an ex teacher and an artist and this is her business – so it all looks perfect! If I’m honest, if I do the activities, it makes me feel like a good parent and I feel relief – even if it’s not that enjoyable for me and more work. The photos feel important as I want the kids to look back and see how much I loved them.
3. Core values as a parent:
Kind
Encouraging
Patient
Make them feel safe, loved and appreciated
Homecooked meals and balanced diet
Not too much screen time
Connect and play with them
Deep lasting connection
Where should I take this from here?

Answer:

This list is really powerful! Keep leaning in to building your self confidence as a parent. When you are grounded in your values, you can love yourself no matter what. Be kind, encouraging and patient with yourself. What would that look like?
