Believing I’ve failed after just starting

Hi coaches

After a great live coaching with Maisie on Monday, I launched my first listing on Etsy as a fused glass artist. And promptly went into despair and hopelessness that I didn’t get any immediate sales! Which logically I can see is quite extreme.
I did a thought download to understand some of the thoughts swirling around and picked out one for a model.

C: launched on Etsy with a product listing yesterday and added another today. No sales yet.
T: this isn’t going to work
F: hopeless
S: heavy body, dropping shoulders
A: project forwards and assume I will get no sales; make it mean my glass business will fail and I will have to do something else/ more Pilates classes; obsess about my pricing and other sellers pricing; dismiss all success and sales so far through my website, social media and craft fair
R: it isn’t working for me – ie it is stressful and unpleasant.

First, congratulations! Look at all the steps that went in to getting that listing up. What can you celebrate about that journey? Check in with your nervous system. How does it make perfect sense you might be freaking out a little?

I would offer that other results could be  R: I give all my power away.  R: I stop working towards my goal. R: I prove my thought true.

Notice your action line.  What do you want to keep? What could actually be some good points if you could look at with a different lens. What timeframe do you think is reasonable to keep your listings as they are before making changes? How could doing this help you care for your emotional energy in this time?
