Business coaching

Hi there, I’d love some business coaching advice. I’ve reached a point where I know i need to tweak some things in my business and am ready to make some changes. I really want to make this something I can feel proud of and successful.
I teach yoga and it’s all still pretty new to me. I’ve practised yoga myself for a long time but started my business alongside my day job (as a personal assistant) last May. Since then I quit my job at Christmas and started self-employed life full time in January.
Things that are going well:
– I love teaching yoga (phew!)
– I feel challenged
– I have more time for my children
– my brain is excited and always thinking of new ideas
What I would like to improve (which is where I need to make some changes)
– I am finding I feel like I have less time lately as I am spending an increasing amounts of time “working” but not getting paid for it eg admin, prospect emails, social media etc
– I would like more financial security
– I feel like I’ve sort of winged the last 6 months and now it’s catching up with me and feel disorganised. Like I am not using my time as efficiently as I could be
– I could do with more structure and routine in my week to make sure I do the basics like checking people are paying me
-I hate that I am on my phone more. 2 years ago I came off all social media and whatsapp and felt so good for it and now I have been sucked back down the rabbit hole and feel rubbish for it
– I feel like now I am based at home there is more pressure from my husband to be more available for unpaid labour…
Any advice or pointers I’d be so grateful for. Many thanks 😁

Answer:

Congratulations on going all in on building the life you want. The transition from employee to CEO of your own business will always bring up different obstacles in your mind. Right now your brain wants to be overwhelmed because then you stay stuck and don’t venture out of the cave. This looks like a lot of passive action-things that feel like you are working in your business but don’t actually move the needle.
The way to lessen the overwhelm is to just choose the next thing that will move your business forward. This is massive action. It may feel scary, but it’s the kind that starts making a difference.
If you picked one of these places you want to improve, and you believed you knew exactly what you could do as the CEO of your business to solve it, what would that be?
