Clarity around period pain goal

Hello! I am noticing some indecision around wording of my goal for these three months. The context is that a get intense pain on day one of my cycle and a big part of being in the flow collective is to help me reduce that pain. Currently every other period I haven’t had to take pain killers I’ve the past 6 months (wahoo!) which is a huge step from every month but I want to get that to every month.
These are the options:
– “To reduce my period pain” feels a bit too vague.
– “To have two periods in a row where I don’t have to take painkillers” feels a bit too small but more achievable in the 3 month window.
– “To have pain free periods” this feels wildly unachievable and over ambitious for me right now – is that a good thing and mean I should go with it or not?!.
-“To enjoy day one of my cycle.” Even more wildly ambitious but also not specific to the pain that I want to reduce.
I made an intentional model on Tues using the 3rd goal:
F: empowered
T: I know how to take care exquisite care of myself.
A: Investing £150 a month on acupuncture, flow collection and one other therapeutic thing. Asking myself everyday how can I take exquisite care of myself right now? Doing abdominal massage at least every other day. Castor oil packs 5-10days before period. Self-coaching when difficult emotions arise.
R: Painfree periods
Please help!

Answer:

Let’s look at your intentional model. In that model, one result is that you are taking exquisite care of yourself to have more pain-free periods. What do you think you are creating here? Pain-free periods, or one of the other goals that you mention?
If you want to make the first goal less vague, start by being factual about how often are you pain-free now, like 3 out of 6 cycles are pain-free. Then decide how much less you want it to be.
In regards to the goals that seem unattainable, what if they weren’t? What if you believed it was completely possible, how would you show up as you started the first month doing your plan?
The idea of the goal is to move yourself to do all that you can do to move toward it. With that in mind, which goal would you choose?
