Coaching on coaching

I have been a member of the collective for 3 months or so now and I love it. I watch every call replay and every time i see someone else getting coached I find situations where the takeaway could apply to my life. I am very happy going at my own pace with my membership (love Maisie’s buffet analogy), but also I would like to participate in the coaching side of things on both Ask a Coach and the Bipoc calls. But! Whenever I try to think of what I’d like to be coached on, my mind goes blank. Any thoughts on how to begin? Coaching on coaching, if you will.

Welcome! It is a most wonderful buffet. What an exciting step to be ready to get coached. The simple answer is you really can be coached on anything. Sometimes people believe you have to have a big problem, but that’s not true. When my clients are stuck I sometimes ask them about their pet peeves, something or someone that just bothers them and it uncovers a lot. You can also be coached on a goal you want to reach or a decision you want to make. If there was no wrong thing to be coached on, what would you want help with? Try filling in these models-
