Hello
Just revisiting some coaching I received a few weeks back.
Answer: (From coach)
What if you just believed this is all going to work out exactly as it’s supposed to? There is no right decision. You just get to look at your reasons and if you like them, take that next step.
Whenever you have a question in your Thought line, answer it. You can’t say “I don’t know.” I would offer that you are not feeling curious in your model, but uncertain.
Try filling in this model and see what comes up:
C:Signed up to college courses
T: ?
F: certain
A: what would you do? What would you not do if you felt certain?
R: What is your result?
Everything in the future is in our imagination. Your trip, your full time yoga business, online page, etc. It’s much more fun to use our imagination to think of a future where everything works out beyond our wildest dreams. You can’t lose it all because everything you need is inside you. Let yourself be open and curious in that space and see what happens if you really let yourself let go there.
My response ;
I definitely agree the feeling is uncertain rather than curious. However since my first post, I have started college and am feeling much more certain that I made the correct decision. Here is the revised model;
C: Signed up to college
T: I made the right decision
F: Certain
A: I enjoy learning
R: I learn more
What’s coming up now ahead of the Autumn workshop is thinking about goals. I’m wondering if I should sit with where I’m at now, celebrate and enjoy how far I’ve come before moving on to the next thing. Enjoy teaching Yoga full time, enjoy learning, enjoy my free time. I feel a bit of pressure to think of a new business idea that will support me financially whilst travelling so am spending a lot of mental energy on thinking of new ideas (like an online business, maybe life coaching etc.) all of the time and constantly thinking I need to fill all my free space. So I’m wondering if my goal for Autumn should be more internal and if I should just sit with and enjoy where I am at, work on low self worth and maybe the ‘next thing’ will come more organically?
Answer:
Congratulations on starting college and noticing the certainty that comes with picking something and moving forward. The certainty comes from your thought “I made the right decision” and that’s powerful. It is always available to you no matter what the outcome of your decision is. The autumn workshop is going to be so perfect for you to continue this journey to figuring out how to make confident decisions. As you prepare for the workshop, tap into your inner wisdom. You already know the answer to the question you’re asking.
What if you let go of all the noise and the worry and you knew either choice would be perfect, or possibly doing both at the same time?
How could it be possible to sit in celebration AND start thinking of business plans that might work with what you want for your life. There doesn’t need to be pressure…it could be fun to brainstorm from a celebratory energy instead of worry.
Try it and see what happens!
