Hi – here with a classic one! I’ve just finished my first year of being a freelance journalist. At the start I didn’t know if I could even do it… but I have – and the ‘can i?’ has become an ‘i can’. There have been so many wins that I’m really proud of.
But then I’ll have moments where I’m on instagram and see another freelancer doing amazing things and I compare myself and feel totally shit.
Logically I know that we’re not in the same race – she’s been doing it longer, has a different life path etc. But I sitll feel it! The envy, the low self-worth…
I could unfollow these people but in other ways it’s useful to see example sof what they post as someone in my industry to learn from them.
Do you have any tips on handling this?
Many thanks

You get to control the input that comes into your life. Do you want to manage your mind about other people’s social media? Or do you want to manage your mind around unfollowing people? What would help you get closer to your goals?
