Hi,
Since coming back from family christmas, i’ve noticed that i have felt more indecisive than usual. I will get in a rut where I can’t decide what to do in the day – which is especially compounded by getting started again as a freelancer, so don’t have a set 9 to 5 to come back to.
I think it’s a natural part of being home for a while in child mode, and needing to settle back in. But I spiral when it happens.
Do you have any tips on thoughts to use to manage my mind with this? Like, it’s ok to take a while to settle back in. Or actions in the moment to break the cycle and decide one thing to do? At one point I realised I possibly just needed a rest actually…
It’s also possibly about navigating that ‘getting started’ freelance process – which is something I’ve done previously. If I were to have a protocol for this it would include:
– Using one note to track my actions each day
– Trusting that you will start small, step by step, and the momentum will build. Even when you don’t think it will! But it doesn’t happen in one go, have to do a runway and get into gear…
– Tidy room equals tidy mind and often some physical sorting out and organising is the first step in building momentum for the new chapter.
Any tips on this would be much appreciated too!
Thanks so much
