Feeling stuck on getting started

Dear coaches,
I want to set my autum goal, or want to get started “planning” my season. I wanted to sit down and journal about it, maybe think of 3 emotions I want to feel and answer other nice and easy questions from the workbook from last year. But then, the first questions was: What is your autumn goal?
And I just could not answer this, could not decide, had a few thoughts that I didn’t write down and soon started just reading in my old diary instead of focusing on the future.
Here is the model I was in:
C: Reading the question: “What is your autumn goal?”
T: This is important, I have to get it right!
F: Stress
S: Feeling a flight response (I want to get up from my chair)
A: Trying to find inspirations elsewhere, e.g. by reading in the facebook group or in my old diary. Trying to find other questions that are easier to answer. Delaying the topic, avoiding the “task”. Not writing down goal ideas. Not deciding on a goal.
R: I don’t do it at all.
I would love to be in a model similar to this (i have been here before):
T: Let’s start experimenting with ideas.
F: Curiosity
S: a bit like butterflies, but in my chest
A: Writing down ideas, options and thoughts. Soon having one or two goals that feel more important than others. Playing around with options. Not taking this or me so seriously. Finally deciding on a goal, but with lightness.
Could you help me find a way from one to another? Thank you so much!

Answer:

Way to notice what was coming up for you. Step one, complete!
There are multiple ways you can get from the model you found yourself in unintentionally, and into your curious model. One of those ways is to decide that you are going to be curious instead of stressed. It’s like noticing that Stress is dominating the stage and hogging the mic, and making the choice as The Director to take the microphone away so the show can carry on. Cue the music and usher it offstage. Or just simply walk out of that show and into another one. It can be that simple! What thoughts arise for you about this option?
Another way to look at this is to examine what right means to you. What do you like about your definition? Does it serve you? How? If it doesn’t, why not? Where can you change your definition so that you can invite curiosity in? Setting goals is not always about setting the best one – there is no doubt in my mind that whatever you land on, you’ll either win, or you’ll learn.
