Thanks for you answer. I have been thinking over what you said and sitting with ‘just noticing that your brain is serving you the thing it knows how to serve best (even though it tastes like sh*t).
And thinking : What comes up for you when you think about this?
When I get past the noise I realise what comes up is utter panic around time. I’m loosing time / I don’t have time / and beneath that is a feeling of I’m behind, I’m never going to catch up , It’s never going to happen for me…

How do you feel about this new discovery? Don’t be in a rush to change what you’re thinking. Celebrate yourself for doing the work to see what’s been lurking behind the rest of your story. Once you can see it, you can address it. I would offer that you smother this part of you that is worried about time in a huge blanket of soft, warm love.
Everything around us tells us that youth is the time to be successful and if you don’t follow a certain path and hit milestones at the right time you’re doomed. Question that. Explore it. Again, you don’t need to change it, just be open to the fact that your brain is lying to you. Love it anyway. File this under the same category of your brain serving up what it knows best.
If the time is ging to pass no matter what, how do you want to treat yourself?
