I am starting to take action on my weight as I want to explore the emotions and thought errors it brings up.
Goal is to reach 74kg. Rocks are to do daily evaluations, to eat an apple first whenevr I crave something, and to bring thought errors to AAC.
Today I did well in lots of the actions in my intentional model (choosing filter over latte, buying healthy food, prepping lots of healthy snacks, etc) but craved cake in the evening.
Instead of exploring what was coming up around my craving (emotionally), I had the cake, but negotiated with myself and had half a slice. This felt like a “dirty” win.
I’d love to ask for coaching on the thought errors:
1. It doesn’t matter if I slip up today, I can always try again tomorrow
2. There’s no point denying myself as I’ll just feel rubbish anyway
I feel like I can always find a way to negotiate with myself.
