I took part in Cast Your Vision workshop and in the visualisation I saw future me who said you’ve got this. I was rooted to the ground but with a softness, a confidence. I reassured myself and the word that came to mind was Rise. Like tadasana in yoga, you root to rise. Rise up with a softness, a knowing and an ease that everything is coming. I like this very much. The last 3 years have been a journey of new business in an entirely new career. Looking back over my self coaching notes and my previous AAC coaching there’s a sense of striving, being out of my comfort zone, a touch of imposter, alongside a desire to be softer, accomplished and at ease.
I am noticing over the last few months that my hard work is paying off. I’m good at setting myself targets and meeting them, standards are high. I’m a really good therapist and I get evidence of this from clients regularly. I take very good care of myself but my nervous system can feel heighened quite often.
The goal I came up with was quite business results focussed. But I’m not sure it fully encapsulates what I’d like to achieve. But maybe that’s; the problem, I want to achieve too much all at once. Would love your view on this.
Goal
Reach more clients with a higher budget to spend committed to taking a skin + wellbeing journey with me (a full package to make bigger impact on their goals but also me financially – my clients base is continually growing but too many gift vouchers and not one off treatments)
Rock 1
I’m joining an online content creation course to learn how to better speak directly to this client, this need. Joining in to the best of my ability is a given, but I’d like it to come from a place of relaxed clarity, so I take care of myself and don’t get lost in over thought/ over work.
Rock 2
Take excellent care of my own nervous system – yoga, breathing, space for breaks.
Rock 3.
Offer myself a kind pause and coaching when I over think / over work
Answer:
Why does you brain think it is a problem that this goal doesn’t fully encapsulate all you want to achieve? Why is it serving you to think this way?
If you could fully tap into that “you’ve got this” energy what would that look like?
If you approached your goal with softness, confidence, and the goal to keep rising…what could you create?
There’s nothing wrong with wanting to do so much at once. Perhaps this is a season where you have the capacity for that. What do you think?
