Goals 2025

Hi Coaches,
I have completed the workshop and since have been just watching what keeps coming up for me and what I have started working on by myself.
What keeps coming up and how I think I like to do it, is to have one Goal for the Year and then Seasonal Goals. The Year Goal is essentially the rocks to help with really moving into a new era /state and not holding back.
My Word for the year is TRANSITION
Year Goal
Boldly transition into a new era of my life
Rock 1: Radically stop inner critic and offer radical self-love instead
Rock 2: Building self-worth through self-trust and offering self-acceptance
Rock 3: asking for help
Rock 4: Practise surrendering to the present and the flow of life
Rock 5: Taking risks and making mistakes
I see this goal as the foundation of what I want to stretch myself to in the new year.
First question. Would it be helpful to break these big rocks down in actions? They all seem SUPER big, but it feels important in supporting me in my transition.
For example I have many “goals” that I am already moving forward with
this will form the headline for some goals that are already happening
– going through the process of eggcell freezing
– applying for jobs to return to work
– trying a new dance programme
– exporing ice baths
– forging more female friendships and contact
– Integrate some “Zurich” elements in my life (Nature, Outdoor Exercise, Pace of Life)
– Prepare to apply and work for a Part-time Career Coach
this is all already happening and running nicely.
So the Stretch Flow Goals I set up for Winter & Spring are
– Compassionately build confidence and self-acceptance in my sexuality
– Resettle into a work environment and build a new healthy balance
and for Second half of 2025
– adopting a dog
– trying for a baby
This year is all about leaping into big life decisions not doubting myself and taking risks ha. Going big
My chosen focus as a Winter Goal is
Compassionately build confidence and self-acceptance in my sexuality
Rock 1: Conversations
Have conversations with others. Conversation with partner, therapist and friends, AAC
Rock 2: Exploration
Explore and collect information. Join online forums, read books, podcasts, sign up to OMGyes
explore the option of physical exploration
Rock 3: Curiosity
Meet everything with curiosity and a sense of play
I am happy with my winter goal.
As I currently feel a strong surge to transition and move forward, I also feel some worries about “overdoing or overloading” myself.
The Year goal is basically the focus to keep me “bold” but also healthy and my worry is for that to get out of sight.
I’d appreciate some coaching on my year goal and how to keep a balance with my forward motion. thank you so much

Answer:

Doing it the way you like to do it sounds like a great idea! There are infinite ways to look at goals, and Maisie has some lovely direction for us but in the end what’s most important is you making a choice and going for it.
Would it be helpful to break these big rocks down in actions?  Why is it a problem that they seem big? How can you support yourself in big goals.  Explore the story you are telling about these goals, rocks and your ability to accomplish them this year.
“This year is all about leaping into big life decisions not doubting myself and taking risks” What does leaping look like for you? What feelings and sensations does it bring up? Notice how you added “ha” after this bold statement….what’s that about?
Balance is just something we made up. Notice any obstacles your brain might be creating by wanting a certain version of balanced during this process.  When you think about leaping…is it balanced?  There is no right answer. Just visualize how energy moves in a leap or a series of leaps. Where is time spent before, during and after a leap? See what comes up and come back for more coaching.
