Help needed with awkward situation I created

Hello coaches, I created an awkward situation that I find myself stuck in. There is this guy working at my local supermarket who was always very friendly and kind (not only towards me, but towards all customers as far as I can tell). At some point, I started to think that he might be interested in me (I don’t know if it’s true). Due to my own issues (that I brought to Ask A Coach previously), I then panicked and started to behave awkwardly around him (trying to avoid him, pretending not to see/recognize him, …). This has been going on for a few months now. I haven’t run directly into him recently, but I see him regularly at the supermarket. He seems to be irritated / offended / surprised by my behavior which bothers me because he didn’t do anything wrong. And I don’t know how to deal with this situation. I’m laughing at myself – in a loving way – as I write this as I can’t believe how clumsy and inept I sometimes am. So I would appreciate your suggestions. Thank you in advance x

If you did know what to do, what would that be? Imagine the best case scenario playing out in front of you. You have every option, you’re not stuck. You could change how you feel about this today if you wanted to. How is it serving you to stay in this awkward realtionship with the guy at the grocery store?
We can’t know what he is thinking or why he is acting the way he is acting. His behaviour is your circumstance. All the rest of it is made up in your head. Brains see everything through a self-centered lens. Right now your lenses are called Clumsy and Inept and they are hyper focused on this person.
What lenses would you rather be wearing as you buy your groceries?
