Hi,
I’d like my autumn goal to be a ‘journey of discovery of self love’ – I’ve called it a journey because I’m concious this is just the start. Do I love myself? I’m not sure to what degree- it wasn’t modelled by my parents, and I wonder if I am too much of a critic. Awareness is an amazing tool and having it as a focus would be amazing. Might help ripple into my other relationships too.

Nutrition of myself – continue what I’ve started this month. Reread notes, try new recipes.
Thought work so that I can identify my inner critic, manage perfectionism, increase compassion.
Love and Should lists – think about what really makes me happy and make sure these are built into every day. Avoid too many shoulds!
How will I know when I’ve got there?
My rocks feel a bit ‘iffy’ because I’m not sure I fully know what self love means. How will I know if I’ve got there – time for reflection? Talking time with my husband.

EXCELLENT question. Rocks are meant to be used as guideposts to help keep you on track to achieving your goals. I wonder if focusing on defining, or learning about self-love could be your first rock? This allows you to take specific actions such as watching the Self Love webinar, and building your Love and Should list. What do you think?
When it comes to answering the question, “How will I know if I’ve gotten there,” that is very interesting considering your goal is to be on a journey of discover of self-love…if that’s the goal, you’ve achieved it! You’re on your journey! But since things still feel iffy, try thinking about a specific goal relating to self love. What would it be? If you have a desired result in mind, this will help you to create metrics for knowing if you’ve gotten there. Come back to us when you’re ready for more coaching.
