How can I prioritize? I have so many interests!

Dear Coaches
I have too much on my plate. I notice it by constantly trying to multitask (even though I know I can’t) and forgetting appointments. This busy-ness is of course self-inflicted – I have two kids, a job, am self-employed on top of that, have lots of interests, girlfriends and little side-gigs (and a relationship, haha!).
I know that part of it is probably “buffering”. But for me it’s so hard to decide: Where do I cut back? Who do I stop seeing? What interest can/should I stop pursuing? I am interested in just EVERYTHING in my life and find ALL my friends so inspiring!
I’d be happy for any impetus for a model or food for thought on how to proceed to better allocate my precious time and prioritize all my interests and activities more clearly.
Thank you very much for your work!

Answer:

What would be different if you dropped the thought ” I have too much on my plate”?
You get to decide how you label your life. Notice the beliefs you have about how someone should show up, how many things should be on the calendar, how many things they should remember, etc.
If you want to change a few things, sure, do it out of an abundance of self-love, not thinking you are a problem to be fixed.
What if you owned the energy with which you say “I am interested in just EVERYTHING in my life and find ALL my friends so inspiring!”
