Thank you for your feedback, coaches. I really thought to myself before I got your reply, “What is it that I really need here?” So I listened to Creating Safety and decided to map out my nervous system. And what happens at night for me what’s the cycle? So I just relived the cycle I go through at night.
I started first with the breakdown from ventral vagal to dorsal vagal. I noticed each step I went through, relived the tears, and opened up to the emotions I felt.
Then, I started from dorsal vagal and made my way back up to ventral vagal, mapping out what would support me and help me find my way back. It was a really beautiful moment, and when I came home, I shared it all with my partner. I realized I was being unkind to myself and thought about what I can do to soften my nights and what breaking free from this cycle means to me.
And that’s exactly what I did. I think mapping it out and seeing the experience I go through in front of me helped. Seeing it for what it is and loving myself a little bit more than I already do.
I’ve booked an acupuncture session, and I’m going to see a GP on Friday to talk about my options moving forward.
Thank you, coaches. X
