Not knowing what I want

Okay so I spend a lot of time trying to get clear on what I want in life, but mostly it feels foggy, or fake? Almost like I’m just dreaming up dreams that are actually someone else’s, or things I’ve been told I should want. I don’t know what I want and I find it hard to see, truly, how to vision it. It’s all very blurry and vague. Any ideas on how to move forward with this and to GET CLEAR?!

Answer:

“I don’t know what I want” is a thought, not a fact. As long as you believe this about yourself, you will block yourself and stay stuck in this fog.
Perhaps it would help to write down what you know you don’t want. This could include other people’s ideas or things you’ve already looked into and know it’s not for you.
Sometimes we get stuck thinking we have to decide now what we’ll be doing for the rest of our lives. That overwhelms the brain. What if you just had to decide what you want TODAY? What would be different if you allowed yourself to stay more present as you live this one beautiful life we’re all given?
What if you believed in your ability to figure this out?
