Hello, I am new to the flow collective and very excited to be here!
I joined because I have an overarching feeling of overwhelm and uncertainty in my life right now.
I just turned 33. Five months ago, I quit my job as an Event Manager because it was wearing on my mind, body, and soul. I have been out of work since just making ends meet. I’ve been trying to figure out what’s next for me. I’ve cycled through many ideas and I’m starting to feel like I have a better grasp on how I’d like to move my life forward. However, I’m having trouble figuring out the sequence of things. The goals on deck- 1. Returning to school to obtain my Mater’s Degree 2. Purchasing a home and starting an Airbnb business 3. Securing flexible steady employment to support my other goals.
Everything feels so lofty, big, and scary right now! I would appreciate coaching on how to move beyond the idea phase, create a plan of execution, and start taking action.
Thank you!

Welcome to TFC! We’re so glad you’re already using the AAC resource.
Something to remember is that this doesn’t all have to happen right away or at the same time – this isn’t to say that it can’t happen at the same time, but when we exercise constraint by choosing one big goal to focus on first, it allows our brains to relax and create a strong plan.
Prioritize your goals from what you think is most important to what you think is least important (or perhaps that’s what you’ve done in your submission and I just don’t know it). What if you decided to focus primarily on your self-identified top priority for the next three months?
What do you think about that? How do you feel? What does this inspire you to do and not do? What result do you think these actions would create for you? Let us know what happens for you in this process and what you’d like to work on next in a follow up submission titled, “Goal paralysis pt. 2”.
