“In your first model, what do you think the big bad “what if” is?” – the house move doesnt happen smoothly and there are big issues like: the van is too small, the van isnt booked yet and cant find an option, we cant move our stuff, the deposit gets taken for repairs we didnt prioritise the time to do. etc etc.
“What would it look like to love yourself right where you are?” – Probably would feel really good. But what if i slow down if i prioritise myself in that way? I could let things slip and then the big what ifs happen again…!? 🙁
“How could you nurture your nervous system when you notice this panicked feeling coming up in your body?” – deep breaths and a sit or lie down. a timer for 5 minutes so that my mind doesnt go to the sentence i shared above of: IF YOU REST THEN ITS A SLIPPERY SLOPE!
“What do you think would happen if you just allowed the sensations of panic to flow through you?” – I guess i do already? I channel it into a go go go do-mode.
