Premenstrual spotting

Hi, every month in my fall I am not well. I think I have a progesterone deficiency and my gynecologist doesn’t take it seriously, saying that many women have this and it’s “normal”. However, I am really bothered by this pre-menstrual spotting that starts a week after my ovulation. Especially because it is not just a few spots, but sometimes quite a lot of blood and nearly 7 days until my period starts – but I’m quite sure it’s pre-menstrual as it has a different consistency than the blood in winter. I feel incredibly uncomfortable within this week because I just don’t know how to deal with it. I can’t wear a menstrual cup because then I get too dry and just a simple panty liner isn’t enough at times. Maybe I should adjust my diet, but even there I don’t know where to start.
I came here to the flow collective to get more into this topic and maybe find a solution to my problem. Not sure if you can help me with that!
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your openness here. We do not give out medical advice in Ask A Coach, but we can certainly coach you on your thoughts about this situation.
Let’s play pretend for a second. Imagine yourself at your most powerful, most certain, most confident. What words would you use to describe yourself in this version of you? How would you dress, speak, and present what information you have about your body to a gynaecologist?
What would this most badass powerhouse version of you do next to figure out why you’re bleeding a week after ovulation?
When you don’t know where to start, sometimes it’s fun to dream about what the version of you who WOULD know what to do…would do…and try borrowing that energy. If that doesn’t feel available to you right now, imagine what you think Maisie would do in this situation! This will help you to tap into your own inner wisdom and make powerful decisions for yourself.
