Taking action and time management

I signed up to TFC with really good intentions as I wanted to make a positive change to my life. I got through harness your hormones feeling really positive. However I feel l that life has run away with me at the moment and I’m struggling to juggle everything all at once. I then feel so behind that it’s overwhelming and the thought of trying to take action seems so scary. I get knocked back with the fact that I can’t join the live calls and worry that i am missing out.
I know I need to manage my time better but it’s becoming increasingly overwhelming and I don’t know where to start.

 

 

Answer:

Dear new friend, You can’t be behind. You don’t have to catch up. Take a deep breath and let go of the past. Start today like you just joined and stay present. What sounds fun to listen to? Look at how much time you want to make for TFC and then make it easy. Have you signed up for the private podcast? A lot of people love to listen while doing rather than sitting down to a video. Maisie has perfect, short pep talks available to help you through this overwhelm.
Notice your thoughts: I need to manage my time better. I don’t know where to start. I am missing out. Life has run away with me. I’m struggling to juggle everything at once.  All of these feel like facts that you are just sharing but they are optional thoughts. It’s ok that you are thinking this way, just notice how it affects how you feel and what results you are getting when you believe these sentences your brain is offering you.
As you seem to be feeling quite activated, you may enjoy the Creating Safety or Somatics workshops. The Doing Less Webinar is also excellent for overwhelm. I would offer that you ask yourself these questions: What if nothing has gone wrong here? How can I make this easy? What would love do?
You can’t mess this up. You’re right where you’re supposed to be. The actions you take within the membership won’t change how you feel, it’s the way you are thinking that is the key to feeling better.
