Hi,
I am in my mid twenties and a year and a half ago I underwent surgery for the removal of a cyst on my left ovary. This event triggered me to read Period Power, listen to Maisie’s podcast, and then ultimately join TFC, as I wanted to learn more so I could help myself. Now that I have been a member for a while, I have been developing some really good models, and finding I really benefit from thought work. Since my operation I have had bleeding between my periods, around CD10-12 (avg. cycle length of 28 days). This is something that has been distressing me, so a lot of my models end with an action such as “research and ways to support your cycle, to help reduce mid-cycle bleeding”. However, this is where I get stuck. I subsequently will spend hours of my life researching this topic, and find conflicting evidence. This makes me question things like “Is ovulation bleeding normal?”, “Does this count as ovulation bleeding if it happens before I ovulate?” and “is it even possible to improve this symptom or is this my lot?”. I have had multiple scans and ultrasounds, and as far as my GP is concerned I am completely normal. So my question is, is there any information on the Flow Collective portal that would be useful to me to improve my situation? Could a nutritional therapist help me, and would I need to find a specialist in this kind of problem? I would love to finally complete this model, and find hope again!
